Cancellation and Refund
At Global Sikh Charity, we deeply value the support of our donors. Since donations are contributions made voluntarily to support charitable activities, we maintain the following policy:
1. No Cancellation of Donations
Once a donation has been successfully processed, it cannot ordinarily be canceled or withdrawn.
Donors are therefore requested to verify details (amount, purpose, and payment method) before confirming the transaction.
2. Refunds in Exceptional Cases
Refunds may be considered only in cases of:
Duplicate donations due to technical errors.
Wrong amount debited due to payment gateway issues.
Such requests must be made within 7 working days of the transaction.
3. Process for Refund Request
Donors should submit refund requests by writing to us at info@globalsikhcharity.org, along with:
Transaction details (date, amount, payment mode, UTR/Reference ID).
Proof of duplicate/wrong debit (e.g., bank statement or payment screenshot).
Approved refunds will be made to the same source account from which the donation was received.
4. Processing Time
Refunds, if approved, will be processed within 10–15 working days.
Time taken for the refund to reflect depends on the donor’s bank/payment provider.
5. Final Authority
The decision of Global Sikh Charity regarding refund requests shall be final and binding.
